Yog Acharya Sri. Suvaditya Gupta is an internationally renowned yoga teacher. He has completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, M.A. in Political Science from University of Calcutta, and M.Sc. in Yoga from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samasthana University, Bangalore (UGC approved university with NAAC accreditation grade one). He has conducted research on the effect of Kumbhaka & Bandhas on mindfulness & stress. He has studied World Religions from Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture and has completed a one-year diploma in Advanced Therapeutic Hatha-Yog and Raj-Yog. He specializes in the management of lifestyle diseases through yoga. He has worked with The Telegraph as a student journalist and was a former member of the US foreign policy study circle in Kolkata. He has been interviewed by leading electronic and print media, including Doordarshan Kolkata and The Times of India. He has taught yoga at esteemed organizations like the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Ministry of Education, and Ramakrishna Mission. He has been a lecturer and examiner at various yoga institutes such as Rabindra Bharati University, VYASA, and VYAM. He was also invited to deliver a lecture on emotional health at Jadavpur University. People from all over the world come to him for authentic yogic knowledge. Suvaditya Gupta received Guru Deeksha at a very early age from Sreemat Swami Punyatmanandaji Maharaj, learned meditation from Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, and studied Vedanta under Sreemat Swami Sharvananda Giri Maharajji. He has stayed and meditated in the Himalayas and has also constructed a Ganga Mandir in Uttarkashi, Himalayas. He has initiated many social welfare projects under Shankara Social Welfare Trust, like tree plantation, clothes donation for poor widows in distant villages, revival of Vedic studies among city dwellers, free yoga classes at old-age homes, yoga & health awareness campaigns, welfare of stray animals to name a few.
